A number of HR transactions require proof or a document for the transaction to be complete.
By digitizing these documents, HR administrators can save the time they spend filing and looking for these documents.
Common employee self-service transactions such as updating name and address or requesting an absence may need a document attachment for proof in many organizations.
The Fluid Attachment framework allows you to configure attachments, notes and URLs for supporting transactions. This helps standardize the user experience of adding various types of files across transactions using devices such as laptops, tablets and smartphones. Employees can now attach documents, notes and URLs to a transaction so the HR administrator can verify, approve and access those documents.
The Fluid Attachment framework is now part of the Name Change and Absence Request transactions with PUM Image 26. Attachments are planned to be part of other transactions as well in upcoming PUM images.
The image below shows an example of the name change transaction on a desktop and absence request transaction on a smartphone where a document attachment is configured.
The framework allows Customers to configure notes and URLs for any fluid transaction.
The Image below shows different types of files that are configured.
When a transaction requires approval, the approver may be provided a role to view the attachments. Approver sees a link to view attachments on the approval screen.
The Fluid Attachments framework allows Customers to easily configure attachments, notes or URLs to any fluid transaction and view them across different devices. The framework provides a consistent user experience to the attachments workflow for all transactions.
